Journeyman Electrician Job Description:
Install & terminate power and control wiring, electrical equipment, lighting, switchgear, ATS, CT metering systems, transformers, control panels, and cable tray. Read & interpret electrical drawings. Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and startup activites.
Qualifications:
5+ years of electrical experience. Experience performing electrical work in industrial and commercial settings. Must have all standard electrical hand tools, power tools, and test equipment. Must be able to perform duties requiring standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and twisting throughout the workday. Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
