Commercial Electrician Job Description:
Perform electrical installation and termination work, including power and control wiring, electrical equipment, lighting fixtures, switchgear, automatic transfer switches (ATS), CT metering systems, transformers, voltage regulators, control panels, cable trays, and tray-rated cable. Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications to ensure installations meet project requirements and applicable electrical codes. Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and startup activities while maintaining a safe work environment and following company safety policies and industry standards. Commercial Electrician:
Must have 5-10 years of electrical experience. Must be bilingual, fluent in English and able to speak Spanish or Venezuelan. Experience installing and terminating power and control wiring. Experience with switchgear, ATS systems, CT metering systems, transformers, voltage regulators, and control panels. Experience installing cable trays and tray-rated cable. Must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Must be able to perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and startup activities. Must be able to safely use electrical hand tools, power tools, and test equipment. Must be able to perform job duties requiring bending, standing, climbing, kneeling, and twisting Position requires standard PPE including hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must have reliable transportation to the job site. Applicants are subject to a pre-employment 5-panel drug screen and background screening.
