Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Tau Beta Pi Electric Inc. seeks to hire an Electrical Installer w/ 24mo (Electric Installer, or Cable TV Installer, or Installer). Candidate will perform electrical installation work on residential and commercial construction projects in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project plans; read and interpret electrical layouts, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine installation locations and wiring pathways; install electrical conduits, wiring systems, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and related electrical components at project sites; pull, route, and secure electrical wiring through walls, ceilings, and conduits using appropriate installation methods and tools; assemble and install electrical panels, junction boxes, and electrical devices as directed by project specifications and installation plans; test installed circuits and electrical components using appropriate testing equipment to verify proper operation; identify installation issues during the course of work and assist in troubleshooting and correcting electrical system problems; coordinate daily installation activities with project managers and other construction personnel to support the timely completion of assigned tasks; perform installation tasks as part of the electrical team supporting the contractor responsible for the overall project scope; daily local travel from the employer's primary worksite in Pompano Beach, Florida to nearby project sites within approximately 5 to 40 miles in the South Florida area to perform installation work at construction project locations.
