The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential electrical work, with a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). This role involves working on construction sites, where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. The Electrician will utilize various tools and equipment to ensure that all electrical installations meet safety standards and function efficiently. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. Utilize hand tools, including ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters, to troubleshoot electrical issues. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all installations and repairs. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial settings; residential experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations. Proficient in using hand tools and testing equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents effectively. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety practices.
