The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in high and low voltage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and hands-on experience with various hand tools. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and renovating electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all installations and repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete renovation projects effectively. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies. Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably with a focus on commercial projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications. Familiarity with frame carpentry is a plus for renovation tasks. Proficient in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. Valid electrician's license or certification may be required based on local regulations.
