About the Position We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Journeyman to join our growing team in the Sanford area. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial facilities. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and electrical drawings. Install conduit, cable trays, wiring, panels, switchgear, transformers, and control systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions efficiently. Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical equipment. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and NEC codes. Work safely and maintain compliance with company and OSHA safety standards. Coordinate with Leads or Foreman on job sites. Complete documentation, reports, and work orders accurately. Qualifications Journeyman Level Electrician - Commercial Minimum 2 years of commercial electrical experience. Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods. Why Join Us?
