Industrial Maintenance Electrician Job Description Join a dedicated team responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment and plant electrical systems. This role requires a strong working knowledge of PLC hardware and software troubleshooting, electrical standards, and pressure and temperature transmitters. Responsibilities Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and established safe practices, ensuring all direct reports do the same. Conduct high and low voltage motor testing, circuit breaker testing, and circuit troubleshooting. Perform PLC, ESP, and VFD setup and troubleshooting. Troubleshoot and calibrate process gas analyzers. Handle piping and wiring tasks. Manage pneumatic and hydraulic controls. Repair and troubleshoot air conditioners. Troubleshoot lights and receptacles. Conduct basic CAN preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Calibrate and troubleshoot field instrumentation for level, pressure, and temperature. Calibrate and troubleshoot weight feeders. Collaborate with the CEMS technician to maintain and coordinate repairs with the Environmental Manager. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on drag lines. Calibrate and troubleshoot load-out scales. Participate in good housekeeping practices using the 5S Housekeeping program. Assist with other departmental needs as required. Provide instruction, direction, and support to outside contractors for special projects or plant outages. Operate mobile equipment. Essential Skills Experience in electrical, maintenance technician, and industrial settings. Proficiency in PLC, troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and industrial maintenance. Skills in electrical maintenance, reactive and preventative measures, VFDs, conveyors, pneumatics, mechanical repairs, automation, PLCs, and 3-phase systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate degree in electrical or electronics field or equivalent training. Minimum of 3 years of Maintenance Electrician experience required. Work Environment This role is based in an outdoor shop within a non-airconditioned facility, which can be dirty and dusty. The typical shift is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm, with on-call responsibilities in the evenings and some weekends. Direct placement. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sumterville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
