In this role, you will be responsible for installing, replacing and troubleshooting electrical systems across various commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and replace electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints. Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations during renovation or new build projects. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports and system modifications. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur. Qualifications Valid driver license and reliable transportation 5+years of experience with electrical systems installation, troubleshooting, and replacement on construction sites. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for accurate wiring layouts. Strong knowledge of NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and safety procedures. Possession of all needed for work tools: hand tools, power tools, etc. Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers; power tools; ohmmeters; and other testing equipment. Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks as needed during project execution. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in renovation or construction environments. Prior construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance and efficient project completion.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
