Duties Assist experienced electricians with installing and wiring electrical systems according to blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform electrical tasks on low voltage and high voltage systems Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to support project execution Conduct routine inspections of electrical components, including low voltage wiring, circuit breakers, and conduit systems Support construction activities such as framing carpentry and site preparation to ensure proper installation of electrical infrastructure Operate testing equipment like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify faults Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and schematic updates Experience Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety protocols and teamwork in active environments Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical codes (NEC) Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments such as ohmmeters Exposure to low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in a construction or maintenance setting Strong understanding of electrical theory combined with practical application skills Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while working independently or as part of a team This paid apprenticeship is designed for motivated individuals ready to build a solid foundation in electrical work within the data center industry.
