In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial and industrial Your expertise will ensure safety, compliance with electrical codes, and the seamless operation of electrical infrastructure. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and components in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete wiring tasks on construction sites or renovation projects. Test electrical circuits using instruments such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues effectively. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems safely, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with construction teams, mechanical and other trades to coordinate electrical work during projects. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for compliance purposes. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial settings when applicable. Read and interpret schematics and technical documents related to industrial or commercial electrical systems. Skills Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with strong knowledge of electrical systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools safely and effectively. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with an understanding of construction safety protocols. Familiarity with low voltage systems, high voltage systems, and NEC regulations governing electrical installations. Ability to operate testing equipment such as Megohm meters, grounding testers, Multi Meters and other testing instruments for troubleshooting purposes. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes in industrial environments. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
