Overview:
Six Flags Over Georgia is looking for a qualified Electrician for the Facilities Crew. This position is responsible for the safe maintenance of facility electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
Inspect facility electrical systems and notifying management of any and all hazards that may endanger guests or employeesPerform the inspection and maintenance programs in accordance with the standards set by Six Flags and the State of Georgia.
Maintain, repair, install and troubleshoot various electrical systems and appliances.
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as circuit breakers, lighting controls, light fixtures, power distribution systems, receptacles, commercial kitchen equipment, etc.
Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electrical components such as receptacles, light fixtures, wiring, breaker panels, relays, etc.
Observes operation of installed equipment/systems to detect hazards, malfunctions, need for adjustment or replacement.
Install temporary and/or permanent power systems for park projects, events/festivals, and equipment.
Remove and /or replace worn or defective parts using hand or power toolsTest equipment using various instruments such as multi-meters, meggers, etc.
Read and interpret drawings, manuals and schematics as providedKeep a daily duty log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenanceRespond to work orders and conduct electrical repairs as required to maintain safe park operation.
Adhere to park policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned
Pay Range:
$•- $•per hour (depending on level of experience). Work in excess of 40 hours per week is paid at 1.5x standard pay rate
Other Functions:
All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole. While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technological developments) dictate.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of the maintenance and installation of electrical systems/equipmentStrong experience in troubleshooting equipment and replacing faulty componentsExperience with commercial kitchen appliancesState Journeyman's license preferred but not requiredAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to professionally interact with other shops and various departments.
Must be able to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of guests, co-workers and park management.
Ability to write, speak and comprehend English.
Able to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, standing for long periods of time, climbing, and working at heights up to 200 ft.
Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.
Ability to work outside in any weather conditions, nights, weekends and holidays.
Valid Drivers' License and clean DMV report.
Employees are required to supply their own hand tools.
