Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled entry level or journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovations, utilizing your knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprint reading, and high-voltage wiring. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will be vital in delivering safe, reliable electrical solutions that support our operational excellence. Travel is mandatory, Maui, Hawaii is the location of current job. This job is not for vacation; we are looking for 50 to 70 hours weekly. Driver's license is preferred. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations. Perform electrical diagnostics to identify issues within complex industrial electrical systems and implement effective solutions promptly. Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards. Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or renovation projects, contributing to framing carpentry or handyman tasks as needed to support project completion. Skills Commercial electrician experience with a focus on low voltage systems and high-voltage wiring. Expertise in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints accurately for precise installation and repairs. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects. Experience working within local electrical codes to ensure compliance during all phases of installation or repair. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently. Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements while maintaining safety standards.
