Solar Electrical Apprentice - Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar Energy Partners is a rapidly growing full-service solar company serving Georgia and South Carolina, delivering clean and cost-effective solar solutions for both residential and commercial customers. About the
Role:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team in the role of a Solar Electrical Apprentice - Commercial & Industrial (C&I). The role offers a clear advancement path into Electrician, Lead Electrician, and Foreman positions as our C&I portfolio continues to expand.
Responsibilities:
Assist electricians with installation of commercial rooftop solar PV systems. Support installation of conduit, wiring, inverters, disconnects, panels, and monitoring equipment. Pull wire, mount equipment, and stage materials as directed by the lead electrician. Maintain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant job sites. Follow all safety protocols and proper PPE requirements. Load, unload, and transport tools and materials to job sites. Support inspections, walkthroughs, and punch list completion. Assist with documentation, photo records, and material tracking.
Requirements:
0-2 years of electrical or construction experience (solar experience is a plus). Strong interest in pursuing a career in electrical or solar construction. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Ability to work on roofs, ladders, lifts, and in varied weather conditions. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work. Valid driver's license: statewide travel required. OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. NABCEP Certification a strong plus.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on project needs. Occasional travel to project sites, warehouses, or vendor locations may be required.
