This role includes a combination of commercial remodel and commercial new construction, with a limited amount of residential remodel. Job sites may include retail, office, industrial or residential. To qualify for this role, you will need more than 5 years of commercial electrical experience. Residential experience is also beneficial. Overview The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, including troubleshooting, bending pipe, installing conduit and MC. As a Lead Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and mentoring junior electricians. This role requires an understanding of drawings/plans and the ability to build and renovate electrical systems efficiently. Responsibilities Coordinate electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications. Communicate with GC/builder. Utilize both power tools and hand tools for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Troubleshoot issues with electrical components to ensure optimal and safe performance. Conduct inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with local codes and safety regulations. Mentor junior electricians, providing guidance on best practices in the field. Collaborate with other trades during renovation projects to integrate electrical systems seamlessly. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines. Qualifications Proven remodel experience as an electrician in a commercial setting. Management of several on-going projects at one time. Ability to stage jobs and materials and delegate tasks to helper. Knowledge of commercial generators and EV chargers is beneficial. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. Familiarity with large renovation projects is a requirement. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Journeyman's credentials preferred but not required. Location of projects throughout Atlanta metro. Bray Electrical offers a company provided gas card, 401K retirement plan and company vehicle. Company vehicle can be kept at your personal residence.
