We are currently looking for a Lead Construction Electrician with previous commercial experience to join our team!

Positive, team-focused, and inviting work environmentStability and longevity in the industryOpportunity to grow in the electrical industryMedical, dental and vision insurance coverageFlexible Spending Account (FSA) and tax-free Health Savings Account (HSA)Employer provided: short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and EAP401k with generous matchTraining and continuing education opportunities$4 shift differential for night workPaid time off and paid holidaysWeekly payPaid travel and hotel, plus $30/day per diem $200 for each employee referral Other exceptional perks What you'll be doing: Manage 3 to 6 team members to complete various electrical tasks to include but not limited to the following: Tracking and verification of crew member time Managing teams of up to 6 men+ Planning and scheduling jobsite tasks for crews Layout of work for small crews Material ordering Conduct safety ORM meetings Troubleshooting electrical issues Installing electrical systems in a new construction setting Read and interpret construction drawings Installing ¾" to 5" conduit using foot benders, side winder benders and hydraulic table benders Pulling branch and feeder cables from #14 to 750 KCML copper wire Terminating Panels, Switch Gear and electrical devices Installing warehouse and office lighting and controls Installing underground duct banks Perform quality control testing Train and evaluate apprentices and electricians What we're looking for: 6+ years of previous commercial/Industrial electrical construction experience2+ years leading crews of 3 to 6 team membersWorking knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new construction settingAbility to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects Ability to Install ¾" to 5" conduit using foot benders, side winder benders and hydraulic table bendersAbility to pull large electrical cables using large pulling ropes, pulling tuggers, pullies and large jack stands Ability to use and understand Volt/amp meters and meggers,Ability to read and understand basic wiring diagramsExperience using scissor and boom liftsExperience using off road forklifts Ability to ascend/descend laddersGood computer skillsFamiliar with Procore and Microsoft Teams Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand toolsMust be willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtimeWilling and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment Rogers is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes everyone to apply.
