Job Description

Job Summary:
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the Affinity modular manufacturing plant. This role supports production efficiency, safety, and quality by ensuring all electrical components of modular construction systems operate reliably and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Responsibilities:
Electrical Installation & Assembly Install electrical systems and components within modular building units, including wiring, panels, lighting, and control systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings specific to modular construction Assemble and connect electrical components according to plant production schedules Production Work closely with production teams to ensure electrical work aligns with modular assembly timelines Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste Support commissioning and final inspection of completed modular units Safety & Compliance Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local/state electrical codes Follow plant safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Conduct safety checks and report potential hazards Documentation & Reporting Document changes to electrical systems and update schematics as needed •Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent experience) preferred Minimum 3-5 years of industrial, manufacturing, or construction electrical experience Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams Preferred Qualifications Experience in modular or prefabricated construction environments Experience with low-voltage systems, HVAC wiring, or smart building systems Key Skills & Competencies Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment Effective communication and teamwork skills Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces if required This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
