Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical components operate safely and efficiently, supporting the smooth functioning of our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction and renovations to ongoing maintenance, utilizing your technical skills and problem-solving abilities to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to perform precise electrical work Ensure compliance with all safety standards including NEC (National Electrical Code), high voltage, low voltage, and relevant local regulations Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify issues proactively and perform necessary repairs or upgrades Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and schematic implementations Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections for accountability and future reference Requirements Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation projects Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical wiring and systems Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage systems, and schematics interpretation Familiarity with NEC standards, ohmmeters, power tools, hand tools, and general construction site safety protocols Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required by construction or renovation sites Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions Excellent hand-eye coordination with handyman experience or frame carpentry skills preferred Valid electrical license or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications in low/high voltage work are a plus Prior construction site experience is highly desirable for success in this role Join us to be part of a team dedicated to delivering top-quality electrical solutions!
