Thiele Kaolin Company 520 Kaolin Road Sandersville, Georgia 31082 478-552-3951 Employment Opportunity - Electrician Thiele Kaolin Company, a leading provider of tailored mineral solutions, is currently recruiting for an Electrician. This position is located in Wrens, Georgia.
MAJOR DUTIES
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Willing to follow safety instructions and listen to supervisors.
  • Willing to attend training.
SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Two or four-year degree from an accredited school or technical college, or two years' experience in the electrical maintenance field.
  • Experience with AC and DC Drives, variable frequency drives, PLC and motor controls along with all types of electrical phasing.
  • Be able to calibrate, clean, troubleshoot, and maintain various types of instrumentation including but not limited to: flow tubes, flow transmitters, DP cells, pH probes, level transmitters, and ozone monitors.
  • Be able to troubleshoot and repair magnetic separators by replacing control boards, SCR's, diodes and other components as necessary working with assistance from outside sources when required.
  • Be able to perform preventative maintenance on circuit breakers in various brands of switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, and other service equipment.
  • Ability to read and interrupt blueprints and schematics.
  • Be able to size thermal overloads for all brands of motor starting equipment.
  • Be able to perform preventative maintenance on all brands of motor starting equipment.
