WECare in Warner Robins, GA is now hiring for an Electrical Installer is responsible for installing and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, and systems in compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards. The role requires knowledge of electrical systems, the ability to work with various tools and equipment, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and other electrical components in buildings and other structures. Connect electrical systems to power sources, ensuring all components are properly connected and functional. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems as needed. Inspect and test installed systems to ensure functionality and safety. Follow electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure correct installation. Collaborate with other construction or maintenance teams to ensure work is completed efficiently. Maintain and organize tools and equipment. Ensure all electrical installations are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certification). Completion of an apprenticeship or training program in electrical installation. Valid electrical license (if required by local laws). Strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to electrical work. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in residential electrical installations.
