Description Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted regional provider of skilled trade services, supporting commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services for our clients. We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician to support tenant improvement projects throughout the Hawaiian Islands. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts and travel assignments between the islands. Responsibilities Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including
EMT, PVC, MC
cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred) Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred) Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman Requirements Minimum of four years of electrical commercial construction experience Ability to commute to various jobsites Must be available to work third shifts or overnight schedules as the regular work schedule Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather About the Company Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality commercial construction solutions.
