Electrician

Job Title:

Electrician Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Perform wiring of lighting systems, power distribution, control panels, and equipment Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and diagnostic tools Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades on job sites Install conduit, transformers, panels, switchgear, and other electrical components Conduct preventative maintenance and system inspections Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times Complete required documentation, reports, and job logs accurately Qualifications & Skills Journeyman or Master Electrician license (or ability to obtain, based on local requirements) Proven experience in commercial electrical work , with exposure to residential and/or industrial projects Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices Ability to read blueprints and technical documents Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment Physical Requirements Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces Capable of working in varying weather and construction site conditions Work Environment Job sites may include residential homes, commercial buildings, and large industrial facilities May require travel between job sites and occasional overtime to meet project deadlines Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mason City, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
