Journeyman Electrician

We are growing Sandpoint, Idaho electrical company seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician ! Jobs range from commercial to residential, specializing in smart home technology and alternative energy. You will need to be ready for any type of job, ranging from new construction to remodels and service work . This often means installing generators, hot tubs, heat tape, custom home builds, commercial business renovations/light poles/signs, troubleshooting, etc.

Responsibilities:

Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems Troubleshoot motor and control systems Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems Adhere to all quality and safety codes Ensure great customer experience and satisfaction Order materials for the job Manage a small crew Communicate details to the customer Complete change orders when needed Duties may also include: Crawling under buildings, climbing in attics, standing long hours, stooping and bending Digging ditches Operating boom truck Working outside and inside during both warm and cold weather Additional requirements: Arrive to job sites on time with professional manner

Qualifications:

Experience with residential and commercial electrical installation Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools Ability to accurately complete light computer work Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Professional appearance and communication on the job Valid driver's license Already have or willing to get
