ABOUT THE POSITION

The Electrician is responsible for performing all plant electrical work.

REQUIREMENTS

One year experience in manufacturing; Industrial electrical experience Ability to repair and troubleshoot 120V, 240V, 480V, and 3-phase systems; Experience with motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation

PREFERRED

Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to Read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specification Ability to work overtime when necessary

JOB FUNCTIONS

Diagnose and repair electrical issues on industrial equipment and machinery Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, controls, VFDs, sensors, and PLC-related systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment Assist with equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant improvements Installs, repairs, and/or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, starters or relay Installs, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, support structures, fiber-optic, line assemblies, lighting Replace belts on all plant motors Repair boiler controls Drive fork-lift truck Four Day Work Week/ 40 Hours per Week (Monday-Thursday, 5 am to 3 pm)
