Pay Rate:
$23 - $27 an hour We are looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake a variety of electrical tasks. Your job will involve installing electrical wiring, hanging and testing lighting fixtures, and troubleshooting malfunctions. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate must also be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems. Experience with low-voltage systems and dry-walling is preferred. Responsibilities Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings. Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables. Ensures piping complies with electrical codes. Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them. Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation. Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed. Replaces conduit and wiring as needed. Replaces circuit breakers as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Technical knowledge of electrical and lighting products. Minimum 3 years of electrical experience Ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. About You Must possess excellent communication skills and be self-motivated. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
