In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within residential properties. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality electrical solutions that meet all safety standards and customer expectations. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and appliances in residential settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installations Conduct inspections of existing electrical systems to identify issues and recommend solutions Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks Work on renovation projects, including updating or replacing outdated wiring systems in existing homes Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Chicago codes for safety and quality standards Collaborate with other construction professionals, including frame carpenters and general contractors, to coordinate project timelines Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project Including but not limited to new service, service upgrades, EV Chargers, panel replacements, temporary power, emergency troubleshooting calls, light fixture installations, installing TVs, smoke and CO detectors, etc. Qualifications 5+ years of experience Proven experience as a residential electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in homes Knowledge of low voltage systems Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing electrical issues Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier residential electrical solutions!
