About the Role As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our technical team, ensuring the reliability and peak performance of complex production machinery. You will leverage your expertise in electrical troubleshooting and system diagnostics to minimize downtime and optimize operational output in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on industrial electrical systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime. Execute preventive maintenance schedules and rapid breakdown repairs to maintain continuous production flow. Interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints to diagnose and resolve faults in automation and control systems. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and testing equipment to verify the integrity of high-voltage and low-voltage circuits. Implement safety-first protocols, including strict adherence to LOTO procedures, to protect personnel and equipment. Collaborate with production teams to perform electrical changeovers and system upgrades efficiently. Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure work areas remain audit-ready and organized. Qualifications Required Skills Journeyman card, Associate's Degree in a technical field, or equivalent military experience. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience within a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong proficiency in reading electrical schematics and utilizing diagnostic instrumentation. Proven ability to troubleshoot PLC systems, motor controls, and industrial automation equipment. Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and working in demanding environments. Preferred Skills Direct experience with tube mill or steel processing equipment. Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Familiarity with industrial robotics, hydraulics, or pneumatics systems. Experience with OEM equipment installation and integration.
