Full Job Description Salary Range:

$34.00 - $38.00 + Performance bonus up to $10.00 an hour.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced electrical technician in our brass rod production facility in Cicero Il. This role will include, but not limited to, maintenance and repair of electrical power systems, communications, lighting, and control systems throughout the entire facility. All team members will be required to work in all areas of the operation. TYPE OF POSITION

Full Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS

Maintain electrical systems of facility and production equipment. Team members are expected to take initiative and work collaborative across the entire manufacturing process. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure continuity of production. Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding projects, scheduled upgrades, or planned repairs.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Electrical Journeyman and/or minimum of 5 years field experience Experience working with automated equipment, relay logic, PLC's and communication systems. Experience with safety protocols including LOTO, Arc Flash, confined space and aerial platform work. Read and understand electrical drawings with a basic understanding of hydraulic systems Running a forklift, man lift, pipe threader, pipe bender, electrical meters, shop tools and equipment

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5 years' experience working maintenance in a production facility

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Lifting, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, bending Able to wear job related PPE including filter masks, protective headgear, Arc Flash clothing
