Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across various facilities. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working hands-on, has a strong electrical background, and is eager to ensure that all electrical components operate safely and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from routine maintenance to complex renovations, in a dynamic environment. Duties Install, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify faults accurately. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair work. Maintain low voltage and high voltage systems safely, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols. Assist with renovation projects and construction site tasks involving electrical systems and framing carpentry. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete electrical installations or repairs on time. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure ongoing safety compliance. Experience Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in industrial or construction environments. Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Familiarity with schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and schematic diagrams for complex electrical setups. Knowledge of NEC regulations, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and renovation procedures. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical components. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools for installation tasks. Previous handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are a plus for versatile maintenance tasks. $41.25 - $43.69 per hour
