  Maintenance Electrician
• Job Description
• We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to perform mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed packaging machinery, including printing presses, die-cutting, flexogluing, and packaging equipment.

Your role will also involve electro/mechanical troubleshooting, utilizing blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for troubleshooting, and using hand and power tools like volt meters and electrical testing tools.

• Responsibilities
• + Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed packaging machinery. + Utilize blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for troubleshooting. + Troubleshoot and make repairs to electrical panels + Use hand and power tools, including volt meters and electrical testing tools, for repairs. + Perform general building maintenance. + Troubleshoot electrical panels and install electrical machinery.
• Essential Skills
• + 5+ years of mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

+ 5+ years of experience working with automation equipment and PLCs. + Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical panels. + Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot to root cause. + Experience with troubleshooting, repair, motors, pneumatics, blueprints, hydraulics, schematics, PLCs, electrical panels, VFDs, and printing presses.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Trade schooling is preferred.

• Work Environment
• The position is open for the 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with plenty of overtime available. The maintenance team is required to work overtime and often on Saturdays, especially as the facility expands.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
