Maintenance Electrician- Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to perform mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed packaging machinery, including printing presses, die-cutting, flexogluing, and packaging equipment.
- Responsibilities
- + Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed packaging machinery. + Utilize blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for troubleshooting. + Troubleshoot and make repairs to electrical panels + Use hand and power tools, including volt meters and electrical testing tools, for repairs. + Perform general building maintenance. + Troubleshoot electrical panels and install electrical machinery.
- Essential Skills
- + 5+ years of mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Trade schooling is preferred.

- Work Environment
- The position is open for the 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with plenty of overtime available. The maintenance team is required to work overtime and often on Saturdays, especially as the facility expands.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
