An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description Responsibilities include: Whip Preparation Stage, unwrap, and phase-tape whips (primary/secondary) prior to deployment. Tap Box Installation Install or replace tap boxes. Run whips from tap boxes to RPDUs/PMDUs. Whip Installation & Dressing Route, secure, and dress whips. Cut zip-tie tails flush to eliminate safety hazards. Power Validation & Failover Testing Validate A-side, B-side, and dual-source power. Confirm independent load support for each rack. Grounding Install server grounding leads. Connect to continuous row grounding infrastructure. Colocation Housekeeping Perform pre

and post-work cleanup.

Remove packaging and debris. Maintain clear egress paths. Safety & Operational Execution Safe operation of MEWPs and rolling stairs. Work in tight/critical-space environments. Maintain situational awareness of cords, equipment, site access requirements, and escalation procedures.
