Source One Staffing is currently hiring for an experienced Chrome Plating Mechanic / Electrician / Welder. The ideal candidate will have hands-on industrial maintenance experience with mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, welding, and chrome plating equipment. This position will support the safe and efficient operation of production equipment and assist with preventive and corrective maintenance.

Schedule Shift:

1st shift 6am to 6pm

Days:

Monday to Friday Industrial Mechanic Job Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chrome plating and production equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment. Diagnose electrical issues and perform basic electrical repairs. Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment repairs as needed. Maintain and repair pumps, motors, conveyors, tanks, and other industrial equipment. Inspect equipment to identify potential mechanical, electrical, or safety issues. Assist with installation, modification, and repair of production equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance equipment safely. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance requests. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements. Maintain a clean and organized maintenance work area. Industrial Mechanic Qualifications Previous industrial maintenance or mechanical experience preferred. Experience with chrome plating equipment is a plus. Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience. Welding and fabrication experience. Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Basic understanding of motors, pumps, controls, and mechanical systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow safety procedures and work safely around industrial equipment.
