Electrician Foreman Overview Join our team to work on exciting new construction residential projects across the Chicagoland area, from Shorewood to Huntley. This foreman-level role involves ground-up construction, wiring homes, bending conduit, and running wire. Depending on the schedule and job demand, you will manage crews ranging from a couple of individuals to five or six. Candidates will typically stay with a project until its completion. Perform and supervise wiring, conduit bending, and running wire. Ensure projects are completed on schedule. Work with crews to complete construction tasks. Troubleshoot both commercial and residential electrical issues. Delegate tasks and mentor electrician helpers. Essential Skills Experience with new build residential projects, including single-family and multifamily apartments. Foreman experience in electrical projects. Proficiency in conduit bending. Experience with 120, 240, 480V electrical systems. Ability to run conduit and wire. Capability to read and follow blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in pipe bending up to 1". Possession of own pouches, hand tools, cordless tools, and benders. Experience in commercial electrician work is advantageous, but residential experience is essential.
