POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrician installs, tests, repairs, replaces and maintains specialized electrical systems, signal, communications and electrical circuits, equipment and appliances. Observes functioning of installed equipment to detect electrical hazards and need for adjustment, relocation or replacement.
  • 2nd Shift; Monday-Friday; 3:00pm-11:30pm
  • Eligible for a $3,000 Sign On Bonus with a 2-year work commitment
  • Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED Valid driver's license. Knowledge of principles of electricity, mathematics and physics, as well as the ability to read and understand blueprints at a level normally acquired through completion of an electrical apprenticeship. Knowledge with building automation systems and programming. 5 years on the job experience necessary in order to understand electrical repair procedures as well as electrical sections of applicable public building and safety codes. May be required to successfully pass proficiency tests as specifically required by State or local authorities. May be required to obtain and maintain an Electrician license or other certifications as specifically required by State or local authorities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5 or more years of verifiable work experience working as an electrician in a healthcare facility. Certifications in electronics and/or control wiring installation, repair, and diagnostics are preferred. Proficient in written and oral presentation skills; organized; works independently and as part of a team on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
