Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes for safety and legality. Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to detect faults or potential hazards, following electrical safety procedures at all times. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects, including frame carpentry and general handyman tasks when necessary. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and compliance records. Skills Proven experience as a residential electrician. Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace) and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and circuit testers. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Experience working with high-voltage electrical wiring and industrial electrical systems is highly desirable. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures. Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliant installations. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail during inspections or repairs. Ability to work independently or as part of a team on diverse projects involving renovation or new construction.
