Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential Electrician and bring electrical expertise to residential construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems in homes, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Your energy and attention to detail will help create safe, efficient, and modern living spaces for our clients. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels in residential settings Install new services to residential and small commercial Work independently and in a team setting Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical plans Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or deficiencies Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes for safety and quality assurance Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman teams during renovation projects to coordinate tasks effectively Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation Skills Proven experience as a residential electrician with knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician experience is a plus for complex systems Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings for accurate installation Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures Ability to read technical schematics and schematics related to electrical systems Experience with renovation projects and working on construction sites in residential environments Knowledge of NEC standards and local electrical codes to ensure compliance at all times Skilled in troubleshooting electrical issues using testing devices like ohmmeters or circuit testers Handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are advantageous for versatile project support Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently Join us to make a tangible difference in people's homes through your electrical expertise! $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
