Job Description Job Description Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead and supervise a crew of 10+ electricians and electrical helpers on commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who can manage daily manpower, coordinate installations, maintain production schedules, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and electrical codes. Responsibilities Lead and manage a crew of 10+ electricians and helpers. Plan daily manpower, assignments, and workflow. Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications. Supervise commercial electrical installations from start to completion. Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades. Ensure installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and applicable electrical codes. Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve field issues. Perform and oversee conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, equipment installation, and electrical rough-in. Monitor jobsite productivity and keep projects on schedule. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies. Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy. Track materials, tools, and equipment needed to keep the crew productive. Train, mentor, and develop electricians and apprentices. Communicate project progress, manpower needs, material requirements, and field issues to management. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial electrical experience. Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman, Lead Electrician, or similar leadership role. Proven ability to effectively manage a crew of 10+ employees . Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations. Ability to read electrical drawings, blueprints, and one-line diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions.
