Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrician to plan, supervise, and perform all phases of installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical systems and service work for industrial facilities. The candidate will also ensure that the helper is set up for the day and working safely. Responsibilities Plan and supervise installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical systems. Install rigid conduit ranging from 1/2'' to 4''. Run 50,000 feet of wire and secure it with zip ties every 2 feet in accordance with GMP guidelines. Pull wire and bend conduit to a 45-degree angle. Follow and assist the lead electrician. Perform minor mechanical repairs and fixtures. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience as an Electrician in commercial or industrial environments. Proficiency in electrical work, conduit installation, wiring, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading. Experience in industrial or commercial environments, pulling wire, conduit bending, and installation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have hand tools and pouches, benders, and cordless power tools. Personal protective equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, and work boots. Journeyman status and ability to bend conduit to a 45-degree angle. Why Work Here? Conditions may vary from cold/GMP environments to hot settings. Standard work hours are 6:00am-2:00pm or 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with potential for extended hours. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morristown, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
