Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in data center operations and infrastructure, is seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Electrician to join their dedicated team. As a Licensed Electrician, you will be instrumental in supporting critical data center functions, ensuring operational excellence, and advancing your career in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

  • Pay Range:
  • $53 per hour on Experis W2
  • What's the Job?
  • + Support the commissioning and certification of electrical data center equipment, including power systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, and monitoring systems.
+ Instruct and evaluate commissioning vendors to ensure proper execution of functional testing scripts and compliance with safety and quality standards. + Conduct hands-on field training sessions, assessments, and evaluations to verify vendor technicians' technical competency. + Maintain accurate documentation of certifications, training outcomes, and evaluation records for compliance and quality assurance. + Audit onsite commissioning activities to ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • What's Needed?
  • + Active Journeyman Electrician license with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical systems within data centers or mission-critical environments.
+ Proven experience executing functional testing scripts for electrical data center equipment and systems. + Strong knowledge of medium and low voltage power distribution, electrical drawings, and system sequences of operation. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. + Ability to evaluate technical performance and provide constructive, professional feedback to vendors and team members.
