Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Controls Electrician and become a vital part of our manufacturing and industrial maintenance operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical control systems that. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and other automation equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including high voltage systems, CNC machinery, and distributed control systems, all while delivering exceptional customer service and technical support. Duties Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems including PLCs, sensors, and low/high voltage equipment. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components using precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters and calibration tools to ensure optimal performance. Support mechanical systems by understanding hydraulics and mechanical knowledge to coordinate repairs effectively. Utilize AutoCAD and for designing or modifying control system layouts and documentation. Conduct field service activities on-site at manufacturing facilities or customer locations to resolve electrical or control system problems promptly. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system modifications, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Skills Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in electrical systems, controls, and automation within manufacturing environments. Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), sensors, calibration techniques. Familiarity with schematics reading, AutoCAD design tools, CNC machinery operations, and high/low voltage electrical work. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of hydraulics, mechanical components, and precision measuring instruments like ohmmeters. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as sensors or calibration equipment efficiently. Experience working with field service teams in diverse environments including military-grade or industrial maintenance settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
