Description :
What you will be responsible for: Be a champion for the core values of
MWPC:
Safety Commitment, Professionalism, Teamwork, and Continuous Improvement. Troubleshoot electrical control circuits. Read electrical schematic diagrams. Familiarity with pneumatic systems. Familiarity with programmable controllers and AC, DC, and inverter drives. Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair. Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs. Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Perform Lockout / Tagout procedures as needed. Understand production equipment start-up and shut-down procedures in order to test it for proper functionality. Perform routine and preventative maintenance. Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Keep tools, supplies, and workspaces clean and organized. Detect, identify, and repair building issues, including basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Work with all levels of the operations staff to reach reasonable solutions to issues and concerns. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and internal customers. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements :
Must hold a valid Indiana Electrical License (Required). High School diploma or equivalent (Required). Valid driver's license (Required). Minimum of two (2) years previous experience as an Electrician in an industrial environment. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and senior maintenance staff. Knowledge of general manufacturing and repair. Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
