Job Description

Job Title:
Electrical Foreman Job Description This position leads field operations within a growing prefabrication and data center infrastructure environment. The Electrical Foreman oversees daily electrical activities, including conduit bending, wire pulling, and terminations, while ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and project specifications. The role focuses on building and guiding a strong team, supporting the construction of HACs and failure domains for large-scale equipment such as transformers, and maintaining high standards throughout all phases of production. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily work activities of electricians, apprentices, and helpers in a prefabrication and data center infrastructure environment. Assign tasks to team members and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and electrical codes. Train and mentor junior team members on electrical installation practices, job-site procedures, and safe work methods. Oversee conduit bending, wire pulling, and electrical terminations, including EMT and rigid conduit systems. Ensure accuracy and quality in prefabricated electrical assemblies used for data center installations and large-scale equipment such as transformers. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and project plans to guide installation and ensure compliance with design requirements. Document work progress, track completed tasks, and provide clear updates and reports to leadership. Enforce safety standards, promote safe work habits, and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. Collaborate closely with project teams to meet production timelines, coordinate resources, and achieve project goals. Lead crews of 4 or more team members, providing direction, support, and performance feedback to keep projects on schedule. Ensure proper documentation of workload, including recording completed work, materials used, and any changes or issues encountered during installation. Essential Skills Strong experience with conduit bending, including EMT and rigid conduit systems. At least 5 years of experience in a commercial or industrial electrical setting. Proficiency in wire pulling and electrical terminations for commercial and industrial applications. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and project plans. Experience leading crews of 4 or more people in an electrical construction environment. Understanding of electrical codes and their application in installation and construction. Demonstrated experience in electrical construction, including installing and running projects in commercial or industrial environments. Ability to document workload accurately, including tracking tasks and reporting progress. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide project teams and train team members. Experience working in construction or installation environments involving cable work and data center infrastructure. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman license or accredited electrical training hours (nice to have). Completion of a trade school program in electrical or a related field is a strong plus. Experience running projects and leading project teams in industrial or commercial settings. Background in training and instruction for apprentices or junior electricians. Exposure to prefabrication environments and data center installations. Familiarity with HACs and failure domains for large-scale equipment such as transformers. Why Work Here?
