You ensure the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are functioning perfectly before we hand over the keys. This role requires a "maintenance-first" mindset and the ability to diagnose a problem quickly and execute a repair that lasts. What You'll Do System Diagnostics:

Troubleshoot HVAC units, identify plumbing leaks, and map out electrical circuits.

Installs & Repairs:

Handle rough-in plumbing, install vanities/fixtures, and perform basic electrical upgrades (outlets, switches, lighting).

Code Compliance:

Ensure all mechanical work meets local safety codes and Sunflower quality standards.

Documentation:

Capture detailed CompanyCam photos of mechanical updates and utility shut-offs.

Safety Leadership:

Act as the crew's eyes for potential hazards (gas lines, exposed wiring, water pressure issues). Required Tool Kit To qualify for this pay grade, you must possess:

Hand Tools:

Tool belt, hand tool bag, or tool backpack with common hand tools for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

Power Tools:

Drill/driver, Circular saw, Reciprocating saw, Oscillating saw, Orbital sander, Angle grinder, & Work light. What We're Looking For 3+ years in your specific trade (Residential Remodel experience is a major plus). A desire to learn and grow. We believe that "growing people change!" Ability to walk a jobsite with a Foreman and explain your process clearly. Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle capable of reaching jobsites across the KC metro area.
