POSITION OVERVIEW
Perry Electrical is looking for an experienced electrician to join our team on commercial and residential construction projects in Topeka, KS. This role is a great fit for a motivated tradesperson—whether you're a late-stage apprentice with 3+ years under your belt or a journeyman ready to grow. You'll be hands-on in the field from day one, working alongside a team that takes quality and craftsmanship seriously.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on commercial and residential construction sites. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and fellow tradespeople. Maintain organized work areas and accurate documentation. Uphold Perry Electrical's standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade. Experience in commercial and/or residential construction preferred. Kansas Journeyman Electrician License is a plus — not required. Working knowledge of NEC and OSHA standards. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to continuous improvement.
