10-Hour Construction Full Job Description Description Torgeson Electric Company is currently seeking skilled Electricians. Electricians install electrical systems in the construction industry at job sites and are knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code and local jurisdictions. Prior electrical installation background is required. Scope of Work Torgeson Electric Company is currently seeking skilled Electricians. Journeyman electricians install electrical systems in the construction industry at job sites and are knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code and local jurisdictions. Prior electrical installation background is required. Pay Based on experience. Qualified Journeyman Electricians starting at $30.00+/hour. Hours 40 or more per week Transportation Travel allowance provided, if required Lodging Provided if Required Req. Experience Journeyman's License preffered but not required. Competition of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours) required. Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment, (fit to work physical) and drug testing. Other Reqs Ability to effectively Communicate Follow safety policies and procedures at all times. PPE required for all duties. DutiesTasks Installation of Electrical systems Direct and train apprentice to Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears. Ability to interpret prints and able to generate RFI's for projects OSHA 10 required (reimbursement available upon completion) Quality Control electrical installation Ensuring jobsite safety Fill out daily pre-job safety plan for the work that will be performed Torgeson Electric Company is an equal opportunity employer.
