An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
The Role:
Journeyman Service Electrician Pay:
$28.00- $35.00 per hour Company Vehicle and gas card provided.
- Retention Bonus offered to Current Journeyman Holders
- Up to $5,000
- paid out in chunks through the first year
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, Rotating weekend dayKey Responsibilities:
Electrical Installations:
Safely install and connect wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and other electrical components as required for new construction, remodels, or repairs.Whole home generators:
When applicable: Install, diagnose, repair Generac whole home generators including troubleshooting and wiring. Training and certifications for such work provided by Fayette.Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including troubleshooting faulty systems, wiring, and appliances.Maintenance:
Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent issues, ensuring safety and compliance with building codes.Customer Service:
Interact professionally with clients, providing clear explanations of the services performed and recommendations for system improvements or repairs.Compliance:
Ensure all work meets or exceeds local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.Documentation:
Accurately complete and maintain records of inspections, work completed, and materials used.Required Qualifications:
License:
Valid Kentucky state electrician's licenseExperience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical work, including residential and commercial systems.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and operate safely in various weather conditions.Driver's License:
With a clean driving recordTechnical Skills:
Proficiency in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment, with a solid understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience installing, repairing or maintaining whole home generator systems Intermediate knowledge/use of industry standard software (I.E Service Titan, or other related systems)Benefits:
