Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Installs, repairs, and maintains air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical systems, and associated equipment. Inspects and checks for the working performance of equipment according to specifications. Performs checks and tests on mechanical equipment. Tests water quality and adds proper amounts of chemicals and gases to water and operating equipment. Repairs and maintains electrical, plumbing, and sewerage operations. Keeps basic records of work activities. Provides technical assistance in the maintenance and operation of heating and cooling equipment. Two years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems. Substitute

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
(AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age. Working Conditions May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty-four hours a day. Probationary Period This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in
KRS 18A.111.
