Electrical Foreman Job Description This role oversees commercial electrical work on new construction projects, with a strong focus on conduit installation, cable pulling, and terminations in commercial and industrial environments. The Electrical Foreman works hands-on in the field, leading by example, following direction from supervision, and ensuring tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Responsibilities Perform electrical work in commercial and industrial new construction environments, including cable and network installations. Run EMT, rigid, and PVC conduits from ½ inch to 4 inches, using both manual and powered threading and bending equipment. Set up and pull cables and conductors in conduit using manual and powered methods, ensuring proper routing and support. Install and terminate lighting systems and various wiring devices as directed, following project specifications and safety standards. Perform electrical terminations on panels, equipment, and control systems as directed, demonstrating a high level of skill and accuracy. Use power tools and equipment in accordance with safety and operational manuals, maintaining proper care and safe operation. Interpret and follow instructions from supervision, completing assigned tasks efficiently and within required timeframes. Support commercial construction activities that require bending conduit and bending pipe to precise measurements. Work overtime when required, understanding that additional hours may be necessary and may not always be scheduled in advance. Maintain and use personal tools appropriately, ensuring readiness for daily tasks and alignment with job requirements. Adhere to all on-site safety requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Essential Skills Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience performing electrical and network work in commercial and/or industrial environments. Proven experience in commercial construction, including bending conduit and bending pipe. Ability to run EMT, rigid, and PVC conduits from ½ inch to 4 inches using manual and powered threading and bending equipment. Capability to set up and pull cables and conductors in conduit using manual and powered means. Ability to install and terminate lighting and various wiring devices as directed. Demonstrated skill in performing terminations on panels, equipment, and control systems as directed. Proficiency in using power tools in accordance with safety and operational manuals. Ability to follow direction from supervision and complete tasks in a timely and organized manner. Availability to work overtime when required, including instances where overtime may not be scheduled in advance. Ownership of and ability to use appropriate personal tools for electrical work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working specifically on new construction and commercial projects. Comfort working in both commercial and industrial environments. Strong attention to safety practices and adherence to PPE requirements. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules on active construction sites. No medical examination is required for this role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY.
