Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
): The Master Electrician is a highly skilled professional responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This role requires extensive experience and expertise in electrical systems, codes, and regulations. The Master Electrician manages teams of electricians, ensures compliance with safety standards, and leads electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard in accordance to industry, federal, and DOS regulationsElectrical Project Management:
- Lead electrical installation and maintenance tasks from conception through completion.
- Supervise and coordinate teams of electricians to ensure efficient workflow and compliance.
Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical expertise in electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Ensure all electrical activities meet safety standards, codes, and contract requirements.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Inspect and test installations, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on electrical maintenance and repairs.
Working Conditions:
- Work in both office and field environments; may be required to respond to emergency calls or perform overtime work.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and heights.
- MRPT required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
5 years of experience.- High school diploma required.
- Must possess a valid Master Electrician License.
