Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a high-volume aluminum extrusion manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for electrical troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and installation of industrial production equipment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair 480V 3-phase electrical systems Diagnose electrical issues using a multimeter and electrical test equipment Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, starters, contactors, relays, and sensors Wire and troubleshoot 3-phase motors Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Troubleshoot control panels, electrical components, and production equipment Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and electrical projects Troubleshoot electrical issues involving extrusion presses, conveyors, heaters, hydraulics, and auxiliary equipment Follow all OSHA, NFPA, and facility safety procedures Document completed work and maintenance activities Qualifications 3+ years of industrial electrical experience preferred Strong understanding of 480V 3-phase electrical systems Experience troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Comfortable using a multimeter and other electrical testing equipment Experience wiring and troubleshooting 3-phase motors Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment downtime Aluminum extrusion experience is a plus, but not required
