Job Description

Exco Electric manufactures custom electrical equipment and components for industrial and commercial clients. With fabrication and assembly facilities in Egan and Crowley, Louisiana, and Houston, Texas, we serve customers across the U.S.Job Summary We are willing to train the right candidate. Previous experience building industrial control panels is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to producing quality work.

Job Responsibilities Build industrial control panels and junction boxes. Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Install and terminate electrical components. Maintain quality workmanship and follow company standards. Work with Engineering and the production team to meet project schedules. Assist with maintaining an organized and safe work area. Perform other duties as assigned. These responsibilities are consistent with the current Controls Panel Technician job description. Job Requirements Valid driver's license with the ability to drive a company vehicle. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work safely in a shop environment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Reliable attendance and dependable work habits. Positive attitude and willingness to take direction. Essential Job Function Experience building industrial control panels. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Experience using hand and power tools. Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
